Taking a journey through the stories and characters of the last century, Harvest Rain’s Songs for a New World is a gripping contemporary musical, written by Tony award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown. The dynamic musical captures a moment in time when the old is transformed into the new. Audiences will be taken from a 14th-century Spanish ship to the 57th storey in Fifth Avenue, meeting disillusioned housewives, Christopher Columbus and Santa Claus along the journey. The performance is a pathway into theatre for the next generation and will run for a season at Judith Wright Centre from May 12–22.
