The Nissan Leaf is unique because, unlike other low-emission cars powered by internal-combustion engines, it has no tail pipe and therefore emits no CO2 gases when being driven. With a clean, chic design, the car is operated by laminated compact lithium-ion batteries that generate a power output of more than 90 kW.
