Charity: water Close

It’s safe to assume that a quilt will most often be found at the foot of a bed, or pulled up for warmth on a chilly night. However, this month a series of quilts will be transported from curatorial archives in Europe and displayed at the Queensland Art Gallery. Predominantly featuring pieces direct from the Victoria & Albert collection, the Quilts 1700–1945 exhibition will unveil pieces of bed-linen history from the 18th century onwards. Queensland Art Gallery will host the exhibition from June 15, 2013.
